WHATS NEW AT THE RIDGE FOR 2008

• Track upgrades in the works include new areas for spectators to check out the action on the track, new tunnel jumps, and a new watering system.
• VP race fuel is available upon request at all times. Inquire at the Pro Shop.
• Water and Air is always available at the track.
• Camping is offered on any non race weekend. See the membership info page for more on that.
• The track will be closed 1 full week before each race weekend.

 

2008 Ground Rules

• You MUST have a current district 16 card as well as a current AMA card.
• No glass bottles are allowed on the grounds.
• No pit riding on race day. Golf carts are allowed. Pit area speed limit is 5 mph for all motorized vehicles. Save the racing for the track.
• 10:30 pm is quiet time, and please extinguish all campfires before turning in for the night.
• All pets need to be on a leash.
• Gates close at midnight and re-open at 6:00 am the day of the race.
• Registration will close at 8:00 pm and is open from 6:00 am until 8:00 am the day of the race.
• Morning practice will require a ticket and anyone cutting into multiple practices will be disqualified for the day. No refunds, ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.
• There is a pee-wee practice track on the grounds and this is for pee-wee riders only. Parents must supervise their children at all times.
• All riders must wear proper safety gear at all times.
• Roping off areas in the pits or “spot saving” is not allowed. This causes congestion and parking problems.
